CNC Combustion Chamber Modification
CNC machined combustion chambers and face clearancing. This is for high horsepower high RPM turbocharged engines.
This is only applicable on Gen 2 S4T rotors with the in-consistent factory cast rotors.Improves overall combustion chamber design & lowers compression ratio to about 7.9 from 8.3-8.4

Rotor Housing Modifications
We have a range of different options we carry out, the most common is CNC machining the water jacket grooves by spark plug hole areas, external water feed modification to spark plugs and spark plug hole machining to allow a standard spark plug socket to be used to change spark plugs.
This is a must for any performance engine to keep heat away from the spark plug area which can cause pre mature apex seal failure on race engines that constantly see high rpm and extended racing conditions.

Rotor Machining
Lightening:
This is the removal of weight from the sides of the rotorsThis process removes approximately 300 grams from each rotor. Each rotor is CNC machined and finished with radius cutters for added strength along side seal wall.Rotors and rotating assembly must be balanced after any lightening
Side Clearancing:This is the removal of the minimum amount of material from the side of the rotors to prevent the corner seal or side seals from sticking in and losing compression if the rotor comes in contact with the side plate. Tip Clearancing: This is the removal of material on the tips of each rotor face to help prevent corner seal or side seals from jamming into the groove if it makes contact with side plates. Face Clearancing: This is the machining of the face of the rotor profile to shrink the rotor down in size. This is a must do for high RPM and high horsepower engines to prevent the rotor from contacting the rotor housings and jamming in Apex Seals and damaging the rotor housing surface.

Apex Seal Slotting
This is the milling of the apex seal slots from 2mm to 3mmWe can also macine rx8 rotors to take a standard height 2mm or 3mm wide full height apex seal instead of the factory 5mm high apex seal
Side Plate Skimming & Nitriding
Side plate surface finish, flatness and hardness are critical for the performance and reliability of a rotary engine.
Over the life span of a rotary engine the side, corner and oil seals wear a path into the working face of the side plates, this causes an uneven surface for new seals to travel and bed in.This can cause premature wear or breakage of seals and also prolonged run in time as sealing will not be optimal. The maximum wear acceptable on a side plate surface is .005"We grind off as little material as possible to get the plate back to a truly flat working surface giving you optimal sealing when you build your engine
Re-NitridingSide plates need to be re-nitrided if more than .003" of material is removed or they have been resurfaced before. This will restore the working surface of the plate back to its factory hardnessThis increases plate wear resistance and is a must if you want a lasting reliable engine.

Peripheral Porting
The process involves milling out a hole in the rotor housing, custom making a sleeve which is then pressed into the housing. The sleeve is then machined for an oring seal on the outside. The final port shape, blending and polishing is done by hand with a mixture of carbide burrs and assortment of specialised shaping and polishing tools
We offer this as either a machined housing ready for customer to fill with their own epoxy compountd or as a complete service from stock rotor housings to machined, ported and polished, epoxy filled ready for customer to put together

Engine Balancing
We can balance any assembly from a stock 12A to a full race bred 26B engine.
This is a must do to any engine even in stock form, we have seen engines as far as 120grams weight difference from the factory. We recommend either a brand new flywheel or machined second hand unit with new bolts so that we can insure perfect balance tolerances.
Engine Dowelling
We carry both Stud kitting & Dowelling optionsEach engine is different and depending on application and power levels will depend which is more suitedProcess is available to all engines from 12A to 4 rotor
Vapour Blasting
This process is the perfect way to restore delicate and fragile parts without damaging the integrity or the surface of the parts.
Leaves a nice satin finish that doesnt get dirty by just touching it like sand or bead blasting does.
Injector Testing & Cleaning
Injector testing and cleaning available to suit almost any top feed style injector from as little as 300cc to 2200ccCustom side feed jigs to suit most denso injectors including the larger then normal SR20 type side feed injectorsVery crucial process to make sure your injectors are clean of any dirt or gummy build up (fuel depenant) and to make sure they all flow the same amount of fuelThis makes tuning alot easier and obviously the safety factor for your engine to have the correct and even fuel rate between combustion chambers
Dyno Tuning
